Innovation Leadership How to build Minimum Viable Products?
What a fantastic topic it is to bring new technology to life. Even more exhilarating is when it is actually brought and put to good use inside a company. As part of the Master in Energy and Technology of the ETH Zürich, I taught the art of defining new technology and digital service requirements with an industrial partner — Implenia AG in Switzerland — to later build a Minimum Viable Product in no time.
The result: one out of five teams working on brilliant ideas made it to the next stage, becoming part of the industrial partner and developing the MVP into a new digital service. The teaching season lasted between 2023 and 2024.
